The Association of Black Psychologists- MU strives to promote the well being of Black Psychologists and the black community and to advance the profession of African Psychology. However, APBsi is open to all people and all majors. Topics discussed include but are not limited to, minority representation in Psychology, social justice issues, careers in Psychology, educational paths in Psychology and more! We host events such as panel discussions and events that will assist students thinking about graduate school. ABPsi-MU provides plenty resources to students seeking assistance in class registration, testing, advising and more. In the past, ABPsi-MU hosted a panel discussion on homosexuality in the black community and a regional conference featuring Dr. Robert Williams, who coined the term 'ebonics' .
